Professor Kakuzawa is a brilliant scientist who has dedicated his life to studying the Diclonius, a race of humans with horns and telekinetic powers. He is also the father of Lucy, the most powerful Diclonius of all. Kakuzawa was born into a wealthy family and excelled in his studies. He earned a doctorate in genetics and began working on a project to create a new race of humans that would be superior to the Diclonius. Kakuzawa's research led him to discover that the Diclonius are not a separate race, but rather a mutation of humans. He also discovered that the Diclonius are capable of reproducing with humans, and that their children will be Diclonius as well. Kakuzawa was determined to create a race of Diclonius that would be loyal to him. He kidnapped a young woman named Karen and used her as a test subject.
